Day 1 - Welcome to Bucharest!
Your dedicated private guide will meet and greet you upon landing at Bucharest Otopeni Airport. Depending on your arrival hour, after checking in at your hotel, we can go for a tour of the city, discovering Bucharest's best sights.
In the evening be our guest for a local dinner, taking contact for the first time with Romanian cuisine.
Day 2 - Bucharest - Transfagarasan - Transylvania
It's time to start our Yoga and Wellness experience! It will be a long drive today, crossing the wild Carpathian Mountains into the legendary land of Transylvania.
If the weather allows, you will be driven on a spectacular high-altitude mountain road, for breathtaking views and fresh mountain air. The road climbs up to 2100m / 6900ft, where you can admire a beautiful glacier lake and some cozy mountain cabins.
In the evening we arrive at the medieval village of Alma Vii, right in the heart of Transylvania. Here, Mike and Marion, a young family of Germans, fell in love with one old Saxon house. Therefore, they have decided to invest most of their time, money, and love in transforming the property into a comfortable guesthouse. They run their small business with great passion, personally looking after their guests.
Day 3 - 4 - 5 - 6 - Yoga & Wellness activities in Transylvania
For the following 4 days, you will meet some amazing young people, with a lot of experience and passion for what they do. Like Mike and Marion, most of them gave their noisy life in the big cities for the beauty and tranquility of Transylvania.
Anca - (200h Registered Hatha Yoga Teacher, 60h Ayurveda Yoga Teacher) - started her journey in yoga philosophy driven by the emotion of compassion, after a long time in which her attention was directed outwards only. Yoga helped her to realize that it is essential to return to herself, to her heart. Moreover, she discovered that she is good enough with her qualities and flaws, and how to treat herself with compassion every day, in all of her thoughts, actions, and feelings.
She will be your Yoga teacher, every morning, but she will also host some very interesting workshops, such as Intuitive Drawing, Energetic Dance, Breathing, and Meditation.
Stelian - (passionate about cooking, nutrition & Ayurveda) - loves gastronomy and slow food. A couple of years ago, he started looking into the healthy food area. In his searches, he learned about Ayurveda, thousands of years old consecrated science. This supported him in overcoming some imbalances, with the help of nutrition, purification practices, and herbal-based treatments.
Besides cooking us some delicious vegetarian meals, based on local ingredients, he will conduct a special Ayurveda Workshop. Thereby he will share with us important information on how can we get to know better our body and soul, and how to balance ourselves with the help of aliments and condiments.
Ioana - certified local guide - born in Bucharest, in love with Transylvania, moved here in 2020, and never left. She is passionate about local history and Saxon heritage.
She will be glad to take us for a hike on the surrounding hills, which she knows so well, and share with us some of her love for nature and local culture.
In summary, your schedule has been carefully created and thoroughly analyzed, to offer you a true wellness experience in Transylvania, with a glimpse of local history and culture. Besides daily yoga sessions, you will enjoy numerous workshops and other activities, such as hiking, biking, picnic, and a special lunch in the courtyard of the Alma Vii fortified church.

First on our list is Sighisoara citadel, UNESCO world heritage site. The city will impress you with its narrow cobbled-stone streets and colored medieval houses.
Next, we stop in the medieval city of Brasov, once one of the richest cities in Transylvania. Here we will go for a short walking tour of the old town, where you will find out more about local architecture and history.
