Day 1

Arrival on Bucharest Henri Coanda Airport and transfer to the hotel. Depending on your landing time, we do a short sightseeing tour, discovering most representatives landmarks of the city, or we go directly to the hotel for check-in.

Accommodation in a 5-star downtown hotel.

In the evening, dinner will be included in one of the best restaurants in Bucharest.


Day 2

Starting our journey, in just 2 hours driving from Bucharest, we will first visit the famous Peles Castle, summer residence of Romania's Royal Family. It is a masterpiece of design, with stunning exteriors and even greater wood decorations at the interior. The castle provides also unbelievable views across the mountains.

Second on our list for today is the mysterious Bran fortress, better known as Dracula's Castle. A popular tourism destination, the fortress reminds more about the life of Romania's greatest Queen - Queen Mary. You will find out the truth behind the legend, but have some garlic in your pockets, just in case!

We will end the day in probably the most beautiful mountain resort in Romania. Traditional dinner is included.


Day 3

After leaving the hotel, we will do a walking tour in Brasov city center. Once, one of the richest cities in Transylvania, Brasov was protected by a thick stone fortification system which surrounded the entire city. Under this favorable condition, the citizens were able to built the largest Gothic church between Vienna and Constantinople, nowadays called the Black Church. We will end up the tour with a coffee in the beautiful Council Square and then we are ready to continue our journey.

Next stop – Prince Charles’ preferred village in Transylvania: Viscri. Here we will visit the old fortified church and will enjoy a delicious lunch in an authentic Saxon house.

Last stop for the day will be the impressive city of Sighisoara. Built by the Saxons in the 13th century, the citadel is nowadays a window in time, giving you the feeling of how life used to look like in Transylvania. The city stands as one of the best-preserved medieval towns in Europe and part of UNESCO World Heritage.

Day 4

In the first part of the day, we will visit Malancrav village, where we will find the history of an old manor, belonging to one of Transylvania’s most influential families and carefully restored by Prince Charle's NGO. We will also have the chance to admire the best-preserved frescoes in a Saxon church, in Transylvania.

Continuing our journey, we will stop for a wine tasting in a famous Romanian wine region - Tarnave, where we will get to taste the unique wines of this land and learn about the history of wine-making in Transylvania.

In the afternoon, we will arrive at our modern Golf Resort, enjoying some time off before dinner.


Day 5

This day will only be dedicated to golf and relaxation.

You can benefit of full access to all resort’s facilities, including the outside swimming pool, terrace, practice court, etc.

In the evening, we will take a short tour of Alba Carolina Citadel, one of the largest Vauban fortresses in Europe, a place of a great significance to Romanian people as it was both a Roman Legion base, a medieval citadel, as well as the city of the Great Union and the place of King’s Ferdinand coronation, which took place here in 1922.

Dinner included at the Resort's restaurant, with an astonishing view over the golf field.


Day 6

Having our batteries fully charged, today we will start driving towards the famous wine region of Dragasani, crossing the Carpathian Mountains on Olt river valley.

First stop will be in Sibiu, European Cultural Capital in 2007, a city with many attractive buildings, each of them telling you a story about the glorious past of Hermannstadt. We will have here a walking tour, where you can discover city’s most attractive landmarks, but also we will enjoy a delicious lunch.

In the afternoon we do a tour at one of the cellars in the area and try some of their best wines.

It will be our last night together so, we will enjoy a nice dinner and a refreshing glass of wine...or maybe two, at Dragasani. Here, on this gifted land, locals produce one of the most appreciated wine this country can offer.


Day 7

Today we will drive on our way back to Bucharest, remembering all the long-last memories you will take with you from the picturesque land of Transylvania.
