In Bucharest, your tour guide will pick you up from the given hotel/address. Please make sure you arrive on time for your pick-up!

Peles Palace

It takes about 2 hours by car from Bucharest to Peles. While you're on the road, your guide will tell you a lot of interesting facts about Romanian history. Curiosities and questions are always welcome!

Peles Palace, erected by King Carol 1st in 1883 as a summer residence for the Romanian Royal Family, will be visited in Sinaia. Peles was the first castle in Europe to have central heating, an electrical elevator, and a central vacuum cleaner, thanks to new technological advances. Furthermore, it is one of Europe's most beautiful palaces, with a mix of neo-renaissance, Gothic revival, Baroque, and Swiss Alps chalets. The interior is even more beautiful than the exterior! So don't miss out on seeing it from the inside as well. Inquire with your guide about the greatest photo spots in the garden and wow your friends on social media with stunning photos!

Bran Castle

Climbing further the mountain road, after approx. 1-hour driving, you will reach Transylvania (the land across the forest).

In the former border village of Bran, you will discover an impressive medieval military fortress. This place resembles Count Dracula's, Bram Stocker's iconic character, private residence. From here an intriguing blend of vampire mythology and local history combine into compelling stories. Take a tour of the castle and learn about the Knights and Royalties who have left their imprint on this historic fortress.

Brasov Old City Center

On your way back to Bucharest, make a last stop in the old city center of Brasov.

Learn more about the Saxons, including who they were and how they came to be in this part of the world. Thus, you will admire their rich heritage, which includes stunning urban architecture, the remnants of a powerful fortified wall, and the largest church between Vienna and Istanbul. Take a stroll around the cobblestone streets, passing via Europe's narrowest street, Rope Street. Enjoy a cup of coffee at one of the numerous local coffee shops, or try a local delicacy. For this, your tour guide will gladly provide suggestions!
